This course is for the holders of the Climbing Wall Award or the Single Pitch Award who wish to instruct lead climbing skills on indoor or outdoor climbing walls and structures.
Before you can book onto any of the CWLA courses you are required to apply for a place on the course by down loading an application form from www.mlte.org.
Once your application has been sent you should allow 2 weeks for your log book to reach you if your application has been successful.
It is essential that you are registered and have your log book before attending a training course.
Candidates will work through and need to show competence in equipment, belaying, personal climbing skills, the use of climbing walls, Etiquette, Supervision, planning, management, movement skills.
In addition to the CWLA training course we provide a CWLA Assessment which is a 1 Day assessment.
