- Covers supervision, management of activities, bouldering and the teaching of basic movement skills and roped climbing (excludes lead climbing)
- This Award allows you to supervise your own indoor climbing, bouldering and abseiling groups
This Award is for competent, experienced climbers who are, or would like to be in a position of responsibility when supervising climbing activities on indoor walls or artificial towers and boulders.
The Award is primarily about ensuring good practice and a thorough understanding of the sport, to promote the safe enjoyment of climbing activities.
It covers the supervision and management of activities such as bouldering, teaching basic movement skills and roped climbing (excluding lead climbing).

Climbers must be top rope competent, at least 17 years old and have some lead climbing experience before booking this course.
After taking the training course, climbers are required to have a period of consolidation to gather additional experience, after which they can be assessed for the Award.
