This is the course for climbers who want to either learn to lead competently or for those already leading who want some expert tuition. Topics include:
We strongly recommend this course to anyone who has completed Steps One and Two
Courses start on the first Thursday of every month and run for four weeks. Each is a two hour session. Please ring to check availability.
We recommend that you have your own harness and boots; we will provide ropes and quick draws. It is essential that you experience of climbing before undertaking this course. All climbers must be 16 or over. Those aged 17 or under will need parental consent forms signed. For under 16s, we run a Rock Ratz supervised climbing club.
At the end of the course there will be an optional day's climbing at a local crag - details of which will be advised.
