NICAS (Climbing)

Make the grade with this nationally recognised climbing course. Aimed at older children keen to develop climbing skills and knowledge in educational sessions that help achieve personal growth and progression, these courses fulfil the physical activity requirements for Duke of Edinburgh and GSCE PE individual sport.

NICAS (National Indoor Climbing Award Schemes) are UK wide schemes designed to promote climbing development and accredit individual achievement on artificial climbing structures.

There are various Levels to NICAS which provide the structure and motivation for new climbers to develop their skills in order that they may gain the most out of their climbing as well as having their achievements recognised.  We also offer ‘top-up’ sessions from time-to-time and during the holidays for students requiring a catch up or a boost to their development from term-time sessions (see PAYG session prices below).

All achievements are recorded in personal NICAS Log Books, ensuring a carefully monitored continual improvement in climbing skills and techniques.

During sessions parents are not required to stay as the children will be fully supervised by Warehouse instructors.

We run NICAS Levels 1-5 at The Warehouse. Please refer to our Booking System below for times, availability and further details.
